Do you have right hand drive?
I have left hand drive being in the USA and had an air conditioning problem when the car was brand new. I took a 3 hour drive during 100 degree F weather. I had to keep adjusting the a.c. down in temp finally to maxim...

Our Passion now starts up with heat coming from the vents and air-con not working at all. It did it last year and the garage reset the software, Apparently this is now a recog...
My fan every so often doesn't work...it may go for days....then magically it starts up?????? Any ideas why?

Strangely although there was no immediate change, when I drove a few miles this morning and tried the fan everything was OK.
I must have cleared something with my fiddling about with the polen filter.
I'll tell them next time it has ...

Thanks, I took out the pollen filter and there was a bit of dust that came out, but all else is as you say, totally inaccessible. Will book in for a dealer to have a look!
Shouldn't be a leaf~There is a filter to stop that sort of thing~Not normal~See the Dealer...

A lot of hot air
Apologies if this has already been discussed (tell me where if it has).
Our Passion now starts up with heat coming from the vents and air-con not working at all. It did it last year and the garage reset the software, Apparently this is now a recognised fault which smart are looking to find a proper solution to. Advised today that a "temporary fix" is to switch off the ignition and then on again which breaks the power to the aircon sensor software and makes it work OK. IT DOESN'T

Dog loves our new Smart(s)
Both my wife and I both bought new 451s in December, as her Panda was about to expire after its apparent 3 year lifetime for the engine, and I traded in my forfour as sadly they are no more and it needed new tyres.
We don't have a matching pair as she got the Passion and I got a Pulse (there were only three Passions in the UK and one of them was in Ireland!)
Hers is all silver and mine is black tridion with blue panels.

My car also needed new tyres, l got myself a new fortwo 451 passion met/silver and my wife traded her 14 month old fortwo passion 450 for a new fortwo passion yellow/black, the little "BEE" as she calls it. We just love these little cars and with the price on petrol going up all the time they are a good buy.
