Comment by Daniel Coté on June 22, 2009 at 11:23am: Sorry I can't make it. (Too far away) I rode this legendary road a few years ago on a motorcycle while we were touring the U.S. in our motorhome. It's fabulous. Be prepared to use your paddle shifters if you want to make any kind of time. And be sure to bring your camera along - there are some outstanding views. Check their website http://www.tailofthedragon.com/index.html and don't miss the Tree of Shame that's festooned with bike parts from riders who got bit by the dragon. A note to the organizer(s): Contact the folks at killboy.com and let them know when you'll be there. They specialize in photography of those riding the Tail.
