- yes, pre-2008 smarts were $25K for coupes and $30K for cabrios just a year ago, a lot of people got stiffed when MB made the new smart and sold it here, i've seen the prices plummet in the last year for the 450 model you have. i was lucky, reserved my smart on the first day, march 2007, i watched smarts on ebay since then... enjoy your ride, it's 8 inches shorter than the giants we have :)

- suzanne, that 2005 was selling for $25,000 2 years ago, believe it or don't! i seriously doubt you paid that much for it. they are selling 2005-6's for $10-12K now that smart is firmly implanted in the USA.
