Hello,I have visited this site every day for almost 2 years,
but have only posted once or twice. This past weekend, I decided it was
time to trade in my Smart for something more reliable with a more
responsible company. My car's consistent problems…
It's the break indicator switch. It happened to me. When you apply the break, the switch fails and the car's clutch won't engage. The car can't be shifted without the break being applied.
