can you please tell me what tools you used (exactly) in the install of your exhaust system ea. what size wrenches and socket sets, i will really appreciate the information.

The sound is very cool, just loud for me personally. The performance boost is very noticeable.

i just installed the CES V3 model on my smart, this should be an option offered by the dealers, the performance is absouluty breathless i also installed the K&N air intake version 2 the smart can now run with the big boys........

Did you loose any interior space?

i took it to Knauz autopark telephone number 1-847-234-2800 i think it gained 12 ponies no interior space lost, everything was in the engine compartment, all i have left to put on are some 17" genius wheels and a carbon fiber air scoop, that will have to wait until next month because of the cold weather in wisconsin, i think i"ll get the armrest by breathless products and that will be it the muffler cost $263.00 to have installed.

Hi, I just got my SMART and do want to up the HP's you say the stealth version is loud?

I can imagine what the non stealth is like. I live in S.Fl. and to date my SMART has 13.2 miles on it (broke my ankle as it was being delivered) four weeks after the purchase. Coming from a long history of peppy cars I know I am going to want my little angel to jump when I touch it.

Did you have to re-engineer the back end (exterior) to complete the install? Does the install void the warranty? Where's the best place to get it installed should I decide not to tackle it? Should you decide to part with your exhaust; whats your ballpark estimate?

i bought the CES V3 system from breathless, i don"t know where your from but i took my smart to a dealer in lake bluff illinois and no it does not void the warranty, in california they sell the smarts with after market mufflers and k&n air intake systems on them. i would never part with mine i love the way it sounds and it goes like heck.

Loudness is very subjective. I have no complaints about performance in fact just the opposite. Maybe someone in your area has it so you can check it out...

with your muffler you don"t have the flex pipe, i wonder if that is why you have such a loud sound?
