451 smart fortwo

Performance clutch and aluminum flywheel

I've been bugging different companies to get one built seeing as the shifting is one of the most annoying things (IMO) about the 451

As the story is with all manufacturers they wanted a clutch and flywheel to use as a template. No one wants to pull their car apart for a month unless they have to... No one wants to spend $500 just to send the stuff off either. Getting frusterated at arrogance and ignorance with a few companies I finally found one that was friendly, polite and willing to TRY!

found a happy comprimise on ebay for $125 of a slightly used setup due to a death of a 451 (organ transplant) and now the work begins.

Everything should be ready by the end of April (fingers crossed)

American made (not far east junk) built by none other than Clutch Masters.

With the clutch / flywheel setup and a TCM reflash it should shift like a GTR! LOL j/k but it should be significantly faster and more sporty.

Watch for it on Clutch Masters website. I posted here because of all the red tape and PC on SCOA.

Clutch Masters now have lightened steel flywheels and performance clutch sets up to Fx 400 available
