While I don't own a Fortwo I've been eyballing them for a while now and am soon to be in the market for another car and I have been looking at the fortwo for a long time now manly a CDI if I can get one. Are their any maintenace draw backs that I should know about the car. Power and quatermile time are not important to me I've driven one before and I know the car is fairly nimble one the road.

If you are asking about a CDI you are not in the USA... so most of us cannot give you a heads up on maintenance issues with your smart dealer. now as far as changing oil yourself its really quite easy if you have the right cup size for the oil plug. the filter is easy to take of too so its just a mater of having a garage or a warm place to do it in. Some of us have sold the OEM tires and rims and put on non staggered rims all around so tire rotation is a breeze as well. K&N makes a great "drop in" air filter for the engine that just needs to be washed and re oiled every so often... no more throw aways!
