Yes it is true. Our turbo kit is almost done and will be in for production in March.
We are looking at doing about 3 to 4 psi boost and provide a tune for both the engine management and shift. HP gains could be from 30 hp and up and fully adjustable.
We set a date for the end of this week to work on the tuning side of the kit. At this moment the hardware is completely done.

I'm going to be adding a turbo to mine- tee hee...
If you're thinking about tinkering with a turbo, hang tight for about a month. There's a surprise coming down the pipeline, because I like selection when it comes to choices. I will let you know that the goal is to have it on my orange smart by the 1 Year Birthday Celebration come March 21st, here in SoCal. So for those who are planning to attend (Bruce, Logan? :) Kahn? Where have you been btw?!) come and check it out yourselves, that way you can give honest feedback to the rest.
Choices are the best when it comes to choosing the right toys to play with. ;)

my first shot would be to contact smart, go to www.smart.com, choose your country, then
go to "about smart" at the top of the page, then click on "contact us". then you can e-mail smart and go over the head of the dealership......
