Hi you lot
How do I convert my three stud wheels to five studs. I would like to fit 17" wheels like Sven Wistuba's done. Have you seen them, cool or what ! I wonder if they rub,and how has he got five wheel studs ?. The big issue is what size width etc. If anyone can help that would be great.Check out Svens Smart.

Cheers Stevie. (Scotland)

Hi Stevie, Have a look here. http://evilution.co.uk/170.

Yes its a turbo, I bought it last summer and love it. My last car was a TT and yet I have just as much fun driving my wee smart. I am looking at new wheels and colour coding my car, I was looking at a new air filter to try and get a bit more power. Have you thought about this ?. The link you gave me was very helpful.

Cheers Stevie.

Hi Stevie, if you look at my photos you will see i've put all the Brabus bits inside, K&N filter plus I changed the front indicator lights for the silver ones, makes the front look cleaner i think......plus wheel spacers and arch extensions. As for more power I've got the New M3 420hp, i think thats enough..

Roger the new M3 is FANTASTIC. My wife and I have both had a look at the M3 what a car, The only problem we have is Avril has a company car and I work away from home a lot. so the car just sits in the garage The TT done 4,000 miles in nearly two years. After just buying the car I got a dent on the passenger door, after that I was scared to take it out but enough about that.

The smart goes everywhere, and if I am away then I don't mind it sitting in my garage. I bought the Smart bike rack for the car and what a great bike rack, light weight and very strong. I go mountain biking with it as much as I can get away with. Don't know if you know your mountain bikes but just got a new Gary fisher Superfly, with Industry Nine wheels.

Later Stevie.

I agree with you, this is my 4th Smart and its with me all the time The BM's stay in the garage
3000kms on the M3 and 11500km's on the X in 2 years. We have just sold our company in Italy and don't plan to work again for the moment so a trip to England to see my daughter and bum around France should change all that.

Good luck with your Smart.

in the states, a company called "smart madness" sells the 3-5 bolt conversion rings for $300USD along with the necessary bolts, they also sell entire wheel/tire sets. here is an example:

Well, now that you mention it, I found and bought some really cool wheels made just for the smart! I can't wait to show them to you, however, somehow, I have mysteriously misplaced them. When, and if I find them, I'll tell you ALL ABOUT IT.
