Great New Brabus Accessories but no Price List !

My new 2009 USA Brabus will be delivered with in the next 90 days. My dealer gave me a 2009 USA Brabus accessories booklet but can't get the prices on anything. These accessories can be added to any smart fortwo, not just a Brabus. The dealer told me to call smartusa and ask them for the prices of the items I am interested in. They told me I have to get the pricing from the dealer,and to check back with them from time to time untill they do. Is there anyone that would have these prices now ?
I am trying to plan ahead. Some of the accessories I would really like to add are :

>18) Brabus sound system - Adds a 100 watt amp and another subwoofer in the pass footwell.

>16) Brabus ambient Lighting - Adds footwell lighting for driver and passenger.

>14) Brabus Light package for side skirts - Adds 3 led spot lights on each side of the car that shine on the ground. (Very Cool)

Permalink Reply by Logan J on December 18, 2008 at 1:14am: 18. Unless it's >$150 don't bother. You'd get better results with replaces the speakers your self. If you wanted too, add a "real" amp and a "real" sub too.

16. It's about $500 after market, I'm not sure what it is from the factory. I wouldn't bother with it. Get 15" LED tubes and connect them with the interior dome light. I did this and love it, they change to any of 7 colors, including just a "normal" light color. I didn't connect mine to the interior dome light though.

14. About $600 after market last time I checked. They are pretty cool, I have them on my CLS. They're nice... but I wouldn't get them for that price.

For 16 and 14 these are numbers I tried to remember off my head. Check SmartMadness.com I think they had the prices for both of those listed there.

If I were you I'd do performance upgrades instead. The BRABUS already comes pretty decked out.

I don't know when my build date is, I am not sure how to find that out. All I got was an email from smart USA that said my smart fortwo was scheduled to arrive in the United States within the next 90 days. I can't wait ether, but later mite be better here. I don't want to take delivery in the winter. Hope to here from you when you get yours.

But was super surprised at the cost of these. I kind of liked the suggestion of Logan J of the LED light tubes and the other things he said makes a lot of sense. The one thing I dont want to get after market is>18) the Brabus sound system w/ 100 watt amp and additional subwoofer. I would like this one to be factory because I was thinking it would be more plug and play. I still don't think the speakers would be any good, but I would like the 100 watt amp. Most people have said the radio is under powered but Im not sure about the after market job I would get on this. They did not have this item yet or show they had it at smartmadness. So no price on this item. Probably off the scale. It's to bad they did not offer me this when I configured. I would have purchased it as a factory installed option. Most of the time it costs less to by extras this way.

Yes the dealer gave me a copy of the Brabus accessories booklet. No prices from them or smart at this time. But I can dream.
