the smart does that, if it thinks a bulb is spent, it flashes fast, i had a brake light go "iffy", and it flashed fast till i whacked it a couple times and then it came back to normal, now i carry a pair of bulbs in my glove compartment.

Uggg! that is what I was hoping not to get. I wish someone would figure out a way to reprogram the on board computer to disable this and let the lights flash normal as LED's. I have no desire to install a device to draw draw amps to fake the system, when it should be a simple programming update, allowing fully the use of LED's all the way around.

Tony,

You will still get a Rapid Flash since you are replacing stock bulbs with LED/SMDs since they draw less current.

Hi Clyde, Great Video!!! I have put LED bulbs in the front turn signal before and they triggered a Rapid flash as if the bulb was burned out. How is it that this install does not, or does it? I'd love to match my rears, I already have an LED up in the high mount brake light with a pulse module. What is the difference in functionality between the two brake light bulbs?
