What to do when the cops follow you home!

Let me tell you that I've never done anything to merrit police intervention and even be folloed home!
My wife and I were coming back from Lowes and pulles into our neighborhood, not really noticing who was behind. We reached our driveway and I proceeded to back my Smarty into the garage when I looked away from the rear view mirror to see the police cruiser stop in front of my driveway... And the guy got out! AGGHH freak out time! did I do something wrong? did I run someone over and not feel it? was I doing 150 in a school zone? do I have illegals in the rear seat of the car? YEAH I freaked out. so I just stopped the car, got out and did what any law fearing yet abiding adult would do... Said Hello can I help you? It came out mumbled and a little feable at first. but heck He was on MY property... He smiled (GOOD!) and asked to see the car. at that point I made a mental note to apply for a part time job at the smart dealership.. this I have to get commition on!... He asked all the questions and then He asked if this was one of those TATA cars... Oh if he was'nt armed to the teeth and wearing a bulletproof vest I would have pinned him to the ground.. How could He dare insult my beloved smarty by mistaking it for a 2000 dolar Indian curry can with wheels... Dont get me wrong I love curry but would never drive the can it comes in! I rectified his error in a heart beat and even told him that He could get one in White with a tridion cell in black. He liked it but not as a work vehicle. Well I never thought I'd have a copper as a friend but apparently even that is possible, all you need is to own a smarty. It changes your life from day one...

Well, bad, I've been online since '85 and in all that time I've never met anyone more obnoxious than you.

john, i rarely capitalize, i've been online 17 years, and it's always been considered as "shouting". besides it's just another way that i'm a "bad example".

i also don't care too much for teachers, my mother was one and my wife lectures philosophy, needless to say i never want to see either one alive again. (take that any way you like, i told my wife if i ever saw her again i would kill her, when she met me online 11 years ago, my SN was "mr bad example" so no false advertising)

i think john's strong points are picking at nits and straining at gnats... LOL

What are your strong points?

I guess punctuation, grammar, spelling, capitalization, intelligibility, etc., are not strong points on this blog.

I made an illegal U turn in front of a policeman. A little bit nasty police officer pulled me over, got my license and registration. When he came back, he asked me to get out, now I thought I was really in trouble, but he just wanted to ask questions and look inside. He said he was letting me go because he loved the car.

Hey mr bad,
Dunno about your local boys in blue, but way down South, they all had mottos to the effect "To protect and to serve". (Or: "Serve and Protect")
In the US, you get a 10 mph over speed limit grace.
Over here in the Austral Penal Colony, 2 kilometres over the limit will earn you a snapshot from a hidden speed camera and an invitation in the post.

If you ever have need of help in managing a crazed teenager, give the police a call... they can be very helpful.

Don't knock 'em too much... they are real people too.

PS: do you "carry" in the taligate...

as long as cops don't have to buy gas for their V8 crown vics here, that won't happen. we'll foot that "bill" in higher taxes (my property taxes took a 25% LEAP this year, OUCH!)

Tell him that several European countries use them as police "cruisers", that'll make him think!
