Just an update for those following. There is no update. I've not yet heard back from smartUSA. I'll let you know if something comes my way.
Don't know, but I cover my sunroof screen with a product from Car Smart Systems that you can get from your Smart Center that blocks the sun and the screen still rolls back.

Ian, have you been to their site? Wow, who to email? Seems more and more, web sites purposefully bury email contact addresses if they give them at all. I have posed the question to smartusa I think they should be able to help out.

THE SPF OF THE PANORAMIC ROOF IS MUCH HIGHER THAN THE REST OF THE UNTREATED WINDOWS IN YOUR CAR!
IF YOU ARE SO WORRIED TRY THE SUN SHADE.. IT REDUCES THE UV EXPOSURE BY AT LEAST 2X....LOL
Does anyone know what level of UVA and UVB rays come through the sunroof of the passion with and without the colth covering???

Ok sorry for my bad english as its not my primary language.
What I meant was need links to e-shops that sells advanced parts for engine not interior and exterior bla bla bla.
Here in Europe the smarts sucks in repair status you only get an answer ...
Once again, Smart Center Englewood and Michael Hill (the manager) have gone to unexpected lengths to help me. I broke a couple side skirt clips with my poorly placed hockey puck when jacking up the car.

I'm about to take my SMART Passion in to the dealer as well. When I first got the car I was driving some highway miles and was getting 36 mpg. I'm mostly driving in town these days and my last 3 tanks got 26 mpg. I only have 3500 miles on the car....
