smart Car
Does anyone have one of the latest cdi engined models and if so what sort of fuel consumption
are you getting?
I have got a cdi and however I drive it I cannot get better than 74 mpg even though Smart say they will do over 84 mpg combined.
I have even driven it across Spain almost non stop (Other than to refuel) at a constant speed and could still only manage just over 71 mpg.
The worst I have got is a lowly 61 mpg which is a lot less that Smart say the MHP will do.
Very disappointed with the consumption as it was one of the main reasons we got a diesel.

Yes its true :-( The cdi is not as fuelefficient as the faktory promises...
My 2008 cdi (45 hp) has an average at 20-23 kilometers per liter, witch is some under the 30 km/l. (faktory promise)
If i really take my self together and drive very carefull (70-80 km/h) nonstop and using the cruisecontrol,
i can allmost go 30 km/l. :O
A couple of yaers ago, i had an mhd. My average in that was 16 km/l.
Sorry! In europe we use the metricsystem ;-)

More than 52 mpg.
It has been back to smart 3 times.
I bought it at christmas as a used car from smart
With 9000 on the clock and now I wish they would
Refund my money I feel like I was conned into
Buying it with claims of high mpg I would love to have got 76mpg.
