Has this happened to any one running at 65 mph come to stop lite and the engine started running on 2 cylinders. I limped the car off the road and looked for engine problem. Nothing found , restarted the car and it ran fine the rest of the way home (20) miles. I am getting a little spoked about this car with only 21,000 miles on it.
Do you think shutting the car off would fix that and no codes thrown.I have at least 700,000 miles on other fuel injected cars and never had that happen.
I think that we are all surprised that no codes came up, but if you live in an area that has 50+ percent humidities, or are using gas from a low volume distributor, there is a genuine chance of fuel contamination. It's the hobgoblin of the aviation world, and has cost many a good man their lives - let alone a little sputter. It's a long story, but I recommend that you check your fuel supply first.
