speedometer not working

i would guess a loose wire or plug behind the speedometer. you're most likely beyond warranty and smart will smack you big time to look at it, time for a flash light and a look-see under the dash. i was blowing fuses playing with my dome light, which also powers the radio, now i read the manual, unplug the dome light before changing that bulb, it'll short out and blow the fuse. worse case, buy a scan guage, that'll tell you how much fuel you have left and how fast you're going.

We'll be more than glad to help you! Couple of options, 1. give us a call at our shop 562-981-6800 during our normal business hours and we can give you quick pointers on how to check to see if it's connected or not; it's real easy. 2.) Check out this link:

Though you aren't purchasing a cruise control, it will give details on how to connect it to the back of your speedometer, which coincidentally may answer how you check to see if it's connected :)
