From Owner's Manual:

Restarting the TPMS
The TPMS must be restarted when you have adjusted the tire inflation pressure to a new level (e.g. because of different load or driving conditions). The TPMS is then recalibrated to the current tire inflation pressures.

> Using the Tire and Loading Information placard on the driver’s door B-pillar (> page 185), make sure the tire inflation pressure of all four tires is correct.

i Restart the TPMS after adjusting the tire inflation pressure to the inflation pressure recommended for the vehicle operating condition. Tire pressure should only be adjusted on cold tires. Observe the recommended tire inflation pressure on the Tire and Loading Information placard on the driver’s door B-pillar (> page 185).

> Press Restarting TPMS button1.

> The combination low tire pressure/TPMS malfunction telltale in the instrument cluster (> page 34) flashes for approximately 5 seconds and then goes out.

After driving a few minutes the system verifies that the current tire inflation pressures are within the system’s specified range. Afterwards the current tire inflation pressures are accepted as reference pressures and then monitored.

When the tire light comes on it means that the pressure is low in one or more tires. You can not tell they are low by just looking. If it's cold outside wait until afternoon when it warms up to check the air pressure and to add air.

The tire button under the radio is a reset button. When your tire light comes on you can push this button and it will reset the light. If it comes on again you can be pretty sure you have at least one low tire. Check the pressures in all of them.

To reset- button need to be pressed for few seconds, not just pushed once

Dusty: I got the same code. I simply erased the code and that was it. I think it was a momentary glitch. Anyway, go to a local Pep Boys and see if they will erase the code for free. Look forward to seeing you in a few weeks.

I was told that it was because the engine is so close to the rear of the car and that it was nothing to worry about - the car was built to handle it, it just smells when it gets hot.
