I installed HID's from Smart Madness. They put the OEM lights to shame. Why would Smart not put HID's in standard. What an improvement, so much safer when you can see with that kind of clarity. If you do choose to install HID's be sure they clearly say they are compatible with smart. There is a difference.

We had a headlight go out a couple of weeks ago. Pulled into Advanced Auto Parts and hubby bought the new bulb and replaced it in the parking lot. In and out in about 15 minutes.

that's good to know, i have a pair of spare tail lights in the glove box, 2 months ago my right one sorta went out, a few good whacks of the lens started it back up. you can use the high beams as spares until you can hit a store, all the same bulbs.

I changed my bulbs. Not too hard. Just found out though, that you need to use the same kind of bulb as the OEM. I put the bright whites in mine and they both blew last night as I was driving. Luckily I had my fog lights on. Anyway, I took it to the dealer this am to see if I had a short somewhere and they wanted $179 to put in new bulbs. That's crazy!!
