"What we still needing clarification on is whether that cradle will actually be priced at a ridiculous €240 ($326) and, if so, from which precious materials it has been crafted."
this is cool and all (i've been thinking since engadget published an article about it way back) but whats the point? I dont know for america, but all the smarts in the UK now come with the pioneer navi units as standard.
And if they are all apps why bother. My after market headunit already has nav and bluetooth,I downloaded the one app from smart already and still don't use it ,so again why bother?Oh,by the way, there is that system that smart sells that replaces the clock and has an interface dial on e-bay UK,
well I think the Ipad is too large to be used on the dash, if only it were an inch smaller it would not have been a nightmare to modify the dash to fit it.
Some of you still think of the "radio" as a unique source for info, be it music, gps or maybe blue tooth. well by removing the old radio and putting in what essentially is a multimedia computer touch screen, you can do So much more... if anything you can fine tune what you want on it as running gear and not be confined to what graphics Alpine, Kenwood or some other brand put into that years radio model and its operating system. The option to also remove the pad from your smart pod is appealing to some as well. the fact that you can download code readers, gps apps, performance testing apps, PANDORA... be online, all of it with one computer is very interesting.
the iPad has already been installed in a smart and it looks alright. In mho it is the wrong size,Sato you are right if it where slightly smaller it would look better. But again why?
I have a front wheel and tire for sale off my 2008 passion with 12000 miles on them. No TPMS but balanced . I am keeping one for my self as a spare. I put rear rims all around car with 195/50 15 on rear now.

Try taking it to an electric motor rebuilding shop and see if they can overhaul it. If the armature is bad, they may be able to rewind it. Other then the armature having a concern, the motor should be rebuildable.
Good Luck.
The fan in most cases can be taken apart, the armature cleaned up, the bushings lubricated and re-installed. Search for fan removal and disassembly on: www.smartcarofamerica.com.
