When I worked for Cobe Labs in Lakewood Colorado I would come to Denver several times a year. Very nice part of the country! I miss the National Meeting ski trip every year.
I installed the Cruise control my self. The buttons are mounted on the windshield wiper stalk which comes from a sister Smart Roadster available in Europe. It is an OEM Delphi part. The cruise control it self is a tiny little module with a male and female connector that inserts between the speedomoter pod and its' cable. Another cable similarly plugs between the accelerator plug and its' cable, and a new small cable provides the signals from the cruise control switch. The turn signal lever just snaps into place. To get to the speedometer pod one pulls off the lower shroud, removes two screws holding the upper steering wheel shroud in place. The whole instrument panel snaps off its' mounting spring clips when you simply pull it forward. It pops out into your hands. This MDC Cruise control appears so much easier to install than the other popular unit which requires that you run long cable to the Electronic control unit behind the passenger seat. You also have to remove two wires from that connector and insert them into a new connector on the 451 Cruisse control. Too complicated and too likely to cause problems in my book. The MDC unit would be my recommendation. There are some very helpful videos that help make this install a piece of cake.

Hey guys, Rich Scruggs & John Painter Here. We just picked up our Black Brabus about 2 !/3 weeks ago. Am totally in love with this car. Joh didn't think he would like all the attention. He is 6'5 and usually stands out in a crowd. Now he knows they are pointing, smiling, and giggling about the car. And He fits in it. I wanted a convertible and my only other choice was an MR2 last made in 2005, so I continued to drive my Father's 94 Cadillac, until we clunkered it in.
So like you, I am completely in love with the car.
Added the cruise control, air horn is waiting to be crammed in behind a headlight pod. HID headlights and led interior lighting is on the list.
What a Go-Kart! :D
