I have a 2008 Fortwo Passion Cabrio. I find that the heater core stillputs out heat, even when the temp slider is pulled all the way downt tothe cold setting. On a nice 5-degree C fall day, the cabin often getsunberably hot. Even in subzero weather it can begin to feel too warm onlong drives.
