Yikes; disconnect the battery? Screws up my radio settings. I guess I have lost that jewelry. Maybe I will hit the dealer up again for the price. This sounds too complicated for me. Thanks for link.

Look on the Evilution smart car site: <a href="http://www.evilution.co.uk/index.php?id=493" target="_blank">http://www.evilution.co.uk/index.php?id=493</a><br /> Gives a good illustrated guide... and as they say... disconnect the battery and wait a while for the side airbags in the seat to deactivate before doing anything. That makes it a hazardous job as far as car techs go... so they charge more for the job??<br /> <br /> Good luck with it. Just dropping a coin in a smart can be a lost adventure.
