I put down my deposit 12 May 2007. Got the configuration email in Jan. but havn't heard anything since then. I live in Navarre Fl and will probably pick mine up in Jacksonville. i did a test drive at that dealership. Can't wait to get mine! Someone in the Pensacola area got theirs.

By the time that i am responding tot his there are some folks around with cars. I pick up my Yellow Hornet on July 22, 2008 which will be 14 months.

I have my Smart car for two months. I live in Lakeland Florida. Would like to meet other people in central florida for a get together.

I was excited to see the DDE (Delivery Date Estimator) option added to the smartusa website. I was told it would be about an 8 month wait for my new smart. I put down my $99 dollars for my reservation last month March 2008 so I was expecting an October 2008 delivery date. After using the DDE, it gave me a delivery date of between March 2009 and May 2009. Now I'm really depressed... :(

The posts have been pretty quiet here lately. While I'm still waiting for delivery of my smart I would be interested in meeting and talking with (especially seeing your smarts) anyone in the Tampa area. (even though I live in Pinellas Park).
I did have a chance to buy an orphan last week but it was the Pure but I am waiting to get a Passion.
Please keep your post comming as I am also interested in any information you current owners have about your experiences with your smart.

My wife picked up her Smart this month. I thought she would like meeting other Smart owners in the area, so I started this Emerald Coast Smart Enthusiasts Club discussion. The goal would be to find other Smart owners along the Florida panhandle and meet up on the weekends for some fun.

I live in Navarre also! My Smart hasn't arrived yet. Hopefully I will have it by mid July. Where did you pick up your Smart? When I get mine it will be fun to get together!

Live in Pensacola. Love my smart! Kids love to see me drive by. I think they envision it is a toy car that they could drive! Would enjoy a get together with others in an Emerald Coast Club.
