The car seat has a strap that runs from the top of the child's seat to an anchor in the back. The look prevents the strap from sliding. It will take 2 to 4 weeks. I guess they gotta make 'em. Customer service has been really GREAT. They sent me 2 sets of fabric swatches and once I placed the order online they called to confirm (which I really appreciated). They're not cheap but I have heard only good things about their products. We just ordered ours from Wet Okole and I can hardly wait to get them. It will take 2 to 4 weeks. With any foward movement, the air is flushed out the back. On the lighter side, I believe the dog rather sit up front with me, head out the window, seeing where we are going rather than it the back watching where we have been, but without seatcovers that is not happening.

I did find seatcovers on a English/British site. It stated they were for covering up your old fortwo seats. No American websites. Does anyone know when the side airbags were put into the Euro fortwo? I agree with SATO. CO binds to the hemoglobin with more affinity than oxygen (O2), which mean that the hemoglobin will carry the CO to your all your cells better than O2. The reason the engine trap has a good seal is exactly to prevent CO from entering in the car. Again, CO is odorless. While smelling the CO you feel fine, you remain pink, but you could seriously lack O2. If you have a long cargo and need to keep the rear window open I would suggest to open your 2 other windows to create a good air circulation in the car. that is one of the things you… tag:www.451s.com,2008-05-25:1912846:Comment:27037 2008-05-25T03:13:00.077Z SATO that is one of the things you are severely warned about "has anyone driven with the rear window open? I putted around (less than 20mph) with it opened didn't notice anything, dog liked it." The fumes from the exhaust will come into the cabin, you wont notice anything but maybe a slight head ache and then you can pass out from carbon monoxide poisoning. If driving you'll crash as you loose consiousness.
other than that and that your doggy could be affected faster than you...
